Getting to Paris

Paris-Panthéon-Assas University’s Centre Assas is easily accessible from both Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly airports. The nearest RER B station is Port-Royal, a short walk from the venue.

From CDG

Take RER B (South; direction Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse or Robinson) and get off at Port-Royal. From there, the Centre Assas is a short walk away. Total travel time is approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on connections and waiting time.

Due to scheduled maintenance work, RER B services between Châtelet–Les Halles and Paris CDG are suspended from 10:00 p.m. on weekdays until 10 November 2026. Replacement buses are provided, but journey times may be longer. Please check the Bonjour RATP app for the latest information before travelling.

From Orly airport

Take Metro line 14 to Châtelet, then change to RER B (South) and get off at Port-Royal. Total travel time is approximately 40 minutes.

Public transport in Paris

Paris has an extensive and reliable public transport system, which includes the subway (metro), buses, trams, and trains (RER).

  • The metro is usually the fastest way to move around the city, with frequent stations and trains running from around 5:30 am until about 1:15 am (and until 2:15 am on Fridays and Saturdays).
  • For longer distances, especially to and from airports or suburbs, the RER is very useful (e.g. RER B for Charles de Gaulle Airport).

We strongly recommend downloading the “Bonjour RATP” app on your phone. It provides real-time updates on all public transport in Paris (subway, RER, buses, trams), helps you plan your journeys easily, and allows you to purchase and store tickets directly on your phone, making travel around the city much more convenient.
